About
I am married and a mother of one daughter. I like to spend my free time in nature, in the mountains or hiking. I also like doing yoga and Pilates.
I have always been interested in how different complaints are related to one's life situation and how they can be solved.
Shiatsu helped me a lot during my pregnancy to prepare for the birth and to relieve pregnancy symptoms, which in turn interacted with fears and old patterns.
I wanted to pass on these new experiences with Shiatsu and so I completed a second training course to become a Shiatsu therapist myself.
Background
I studied health sciences and technology at ETH and completed a master's degree in neuroscience. During my studies, I often worked as a training manager at ASVZ (Academic Sports Association Zurich) for T-Bow balance pumps, fitness, strength training, and Pilates. I really enjoyed interacting with the participants. After completing my master's degree, I worked as a project employee in addiction prevention. Since I have always been interested in alternative approaches to physical and psychological issues, as well as the connection between the psyche and the body, I also started complementary therapy training in Shiatsu at the Lucerne School of Alternative Medicine. At ETH, I learned how everything works in the body and in illnesses from a material perspective. Through the Shiatsu training, I was able to supplement this knowledge and learn even more about the external and personal influences on health, something that has always fascinated me.
